Adult Education:   

Adult Christian Issues Dialogue

Formerly known as “Adult Christian Education,” the adult Sunday class that meets at 9:15 a.m. will now be referred to as the “Christian Issues Dialogue.”  The change in name is not to diminish the Christian Education aspect of the class but to emphasize that the class is indeed a dialogue between the participants, and less of a lecture format.  The new name also focuses on the fact that this class is not necessarily a “Bible” class, per se, but a presentation of many varied Christian issues and topics, including a review of a particular biblical book or gospel.

Reorganization of the Adult Issues Dialogue Series:

Fr. Al is recruiting a core group of adult participants who will share in the program planning for the Christian Issues Dialogue (CID) series in the future.  This group will explore the potential topics and themes of the upcoming CID classes, and plan ahead six to nine months in advance in order to book the various speakers, purchase of class books or materials, power point presentations, etc.  Also anticipated is the recruitment of a team of CID Facilitators who will assist in conducting some of the Sunday classes.
